Those are from a few years ago when Steve Westover and I did a Rubicon run. My 4Runner flopped on Cadillac Hill. I Simply wasn't paying attention and next thing I knew, it flopped.

A few years back I did a Rubicon run with Joe Slater. I ended up rolling my 4Runner in the Little Sluice Box. I had actually flopped it 2 different times before I made it out... Under my own power of course.

Vehicle: 1985 Toyota Extra Cab (Joey), 1980 Toyota Buggy (John)
Myself (Joey Aguilar) A.K.A. "MIDGET" And John From Trail-Gear,
A.K.A . "Tattoo John", went up to Back Door after a day of hard wheeling. I remember in the exact words, "we will be right back, we are going to run Back Door and then Resolution and be back for dinner." John was leading and I was following. John popped up the first fall with no problem and I followed as he was hammering down on the second fall. As I came up the second fall ... I throttled it and thought I was all the way up...but one tire was left behind... throwing me over on my lid. After coming to senses... John had a great idea to come back down the fall to winch me back over. As you can see... it didn't go according to plan.

I was running Resolution at the Hammers the day before King of the Hammers 2009 when my hydro assist bent my tie rod. In the process I sheered off all but 1 hub stud on the driver side. While trying to get out the last 300' of the trail I got stuck sideways and a friend tried to drag the back end around. I guess he didn't hear me yell STOP! By the end of the trail I ended up with a bent hydro ram, bent tie rod, snapped axle, broken winch line and badly damaged motor.

Basically what happened was it was my first time taking THIS rig out to the Hammers. The last time I ran Back Door was in my old rig, and I got denied. So this time I had to try it again! Prior to me trying it, three of the guys from my club attempted Back Door. The first one broke a rear ring and pinion. The second one broke a front hub and stripped a Longfield Shaft. The third broke a rear axle shaft. I knew I had to put on a show after all that carnage HAHAHA!! So I lined up, gave it a few tries in first gear and found out that it wasn't enough wheel speed. So I grabbed second gear, gave it a few hard shots in second gear with the throttle to the floor! Then I started bouncing more and more to the left side of the waterfall, which was the mistake. My driver's rear tire fell into a "Hole" at the bottom and my drivers front tire gripped on the wall to the left and almost caused me to do a back flip, luckily the same tire that grabbed the wall caught and sort of spun me side ways to keep me from doing a back flip, and I ended up on my lid.

Well... I sunk half of it. It was pretty bad if I must say. I went out with a group of church friends at 2 a.m. to go mudding. I was going around a bend and I knew there was a pit on the edge and I slid right into it. I thought I was going to flip at first but the mud was so thick that it held my truck in place lol. It took a total of 9 hours and 4 different trucks to get me out.
99 Z71 on 35's - Stuck!
93 1500 on 35's - Stuck!
07 Dodge 2500 on 37's - Stuck!
04 f-350 on 40's - Stuck!
We eventually got all the trucks unstuck and the f-350 started snatching me out. It took 20 minutes and 100 feet of rope to do the trick. All the water came out of my truck. It cleaned up nice with a little cleaning. My doors were totally waterlogged. They drained out nice too.
